How to set a Program to allow registration by an Adult Athlete

Note:

• When this setting is enabled, every division within the program will allow adult/guardian profiles to register.

• This setting does not prevent youth athletes from registering for programs that allow adult/guardian profiles to register.

1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

2. On the left navigation, click Program > Registration Details.

3. If you are creating a new program…

   1. To the right of Search Programs, click the Add Program icon.

   2. Type in the name of your new program.

   3. Click Create New Program.

4. If your program already exists…

   1. Click the Pencil icon next to your desired program.

5. Click Registration in the sub navigation.

6. Find Adult Program: Click the checkbox.

7. Click Save.

How to set a Division to allow registration by an Adult Athlete

Note:

• When this setting is enabled, the division will allow adult/guardian profiles to register.

• This setting does not prevent youth athletes from registering for divisions that allow adult/guardian profiles to register.

• A program may have a division that allows registrations by adult/guardian profiles and a division that allows registration by youth athletes.

1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

2. On the left navigation, click Program > Registration Details.

3. Click the Pencil icon next to your desired program.n.

4. Click Divisions in the sub navigation.

5. Select the division on the drop down that you wish to change the adult registration status for.

6. Find Adult Registration: Click the checkbox.

7. Click Save.

How does Adult/Guardian Registration Work

Once the Adult Program/Registration setting is enabled for a Program or Division, and an adult/guardian attempts to register…

1. All adult/guardian profiles on an account will appear on the page where users select the athlete they want to register for the division.

2. Any adult/guardian profile can be selected.

3. If the adult/guardian profile that a user wants to register does not exist, the user may create a new athlete.

4. PlayerFirst only requires an adult/guardian profile to confirm/provide a first name, last name, email address, and phone number to register.

5. Once profile information is confirmed, registration follows the same steps as youth athlete registration.
