How to Schedule a Game

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Schedule > Add to Schedule.

  3. What will you schedule? Use the dropdown to choose the type of event you want to schedule.
    Game: Choosing game allows you to schedule one game at a time for a single team. Click Next.

  4. Program: Type the name of the program you want to schedule a game for.

  5. Team: Select the team you want to schedule a game for. Click Next.

  6. Title: Type the title for the game.

  7. Opponent: Type the name of your opponent's team.

  8. Uniform: Type the uniform information that your team needs. E.g., wearing home or away jerseys, etc.

  9. Arrival: If different for the event start time, type the time when athletes should arrive at the event location.

  10. Other Notes: Use this section to type out any other notes your team might need to have about this event.

  11. Click Next.

  12. Select your location:

    1. Location Name: Type out and select the location of the event.

    2. If the location search box doesn’t pull up your location, click Add Location to create a new location.

    3. If the location is TBA (To be announced), check the Location TBA check box.

  13. Select your field:

    1. Field Name: Type out and select the field, court, etc. that your event will be played on.

    2. If the field search box doesn’t pull up the field you need, click Add Field to create a new field.

  14. Field Notes: Use this section to type out any field specific notes your team might need to know. E.g., the nearest parking lot location.

  15. Time Zone: Choose the time zone where your event is taking place.

  16. Start: Input the start date and time for the event.

  17. End: Input the end date and time for the event.

  18. TBA: If the exact times for the event are TBA, click this check box and use the Start and End dates and times to input the earliest possible event start and latest possible event end.

  19. Show Publicly Starting: Set the date and time for when this event will be show publicly on the team’s schedule. Set a past date and time for the event to show publicly immediately.

  20. Notifications: Use this section to send a notification about this event to your team(s).

    1. Sender Profile: Use the dropdown to select your username. The notification email will read as being send by you.

    2. Notify Players: Check the check box to send the notification email to your team’s athletes and parents.

    3. Notify Parents: Check the check box to send the notification email to your team’s parents only.

  21. Click Save.
