How to Update an Athlete’s Active Roster Status
Note: Inactive athletes are ineligible to receive communication and attend events for their team.
Note: An athlete’s roster status can be modified in both the Team Reporting and Team Management sections.
TEAM REPORTING
Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.
On the left navigation, click Team > Team Reporting.
In the Program search box, select the program with the team rostering the athlete whose roster status you want to update.
In the Division search box, select the division with the team rostering the athlete whose roster status you want to update.
Click the name of the team rostering the athlete whose roster status you want to update.
Click the Filter button.
If you are only changing the status of one athlete:
In the Active column, on the athlete’s row, click the ✔ or X.
If the column has an ✔, the athlete is active. Click the X to make the athlete inactive.
If the column has an X, the athlete is inactive. Click the ✔ to make the athlete active.
If you are activating multiple athletes:
Select the athletes using the checkbox next to each athlete’s name.
Click the Checkmark icon.
Click Yes to confirm activation.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Sign in to the PlayerFirst website with the program that you want to copy a team roster to.
On the left navigation, click Team > Team Management.
In the Program search box, select the program the athlete is registered under.
In the Division search box, select the division the athlete is registered under.
Click the Filter button.
Find the athlete on the spreadsheet. (You can search the name on the search box above the roster and press enter on your keyboard.)
If you are only changing the status of one athlete:
In the Active column, on the athlete’s row, click the ✔ or X.
If the column has an ✔, the athlete is active. Click the X to make the athlete inactive.
If the column has an X, the athlete is inactive. Click the ✔ to make the athlete active.
If you are activating multiple athletes:
Select the athletes using the checkbox next to each athlete’s name.
Click the Checkmark icon.
Click Yes to confirm activation.
