How to Prevent Pool Play Games Between Teams

Note 1: The setting prevents the scheduler from creating pool play games between the teams assigned to the group. If more than two teams are assigned to a group, none of the teams in the group will play each other.

Note 2: You will need to create multiple groups to prevent one team from playing two or more different teams.

Note 3: This setting will only prevent the creation of pool play games between teams. Playoff games are not affected.

1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

2. On the left navigation, click Schedule > Leagues & Tournaments.

3. Select a league or tournament.

4. Select Divisions/Flights from the sub navigation.

5. Use the divisions dropdown to select a division.

6. Scroll down to the section with the division’s name as its header, to the left of Prevent Matches Between Teams, click Add Group.

7. Type the names and select the teams that should not play each other during pool play.

8. Click Save.
