Changing Jersey Numbers on a Roster

Changing Jersey Numbers on a Roster

Purpose: Overview of changing jersey numbers on a roster prior to event submission

Best Practices & Notes

  • Enter the jersey number in the “Jersey” box

  • Available jersey numbers are 0-999 (including 00 and 000)

  • A “Saved” pop-up message will appear next to the “Jersey” box when a number is successfully changed

  • Duplicate jersey numbers are NOT permitted

    • Ex: If Athlete A is jersey #1 and Athlete B is jersey #9, Athlete A is NOT allowed to change to jersey #9

  • If attempting to change a jersey number to one already listed for another athlete, a “Not Saved” pop-up message will appear

    • Ex: Ex: If Athlete A is jersey #1 and Athlete B is jersey #9, when Athlete A attempt to change to jersey #9 a “Not Saved” pop-up will appear

  • If multiple athletes are changing jersey numbers, it is recommended to change each of them to a placeholder jersey number - not assigned to another athlete on the roster- and then proceed with the new jersey changes.

    • Ex: Athlete A is #1 - Changing to #9 - Use Placeholder #000

    • Ex: Athlete B is #5 - Changing to #1 - Use Placeholder #001

    • Ex: Athlete C is #9 - Changing to #5 - Use Placeholder #002

      • Jersey number changes can now be made without receiving the “Not Saved” error message
