How to Assign a Preferred Field to a Flight

Note 1: Assigning preferred field(s) limits the scheduler to only scheduling games for that flight the preferred field(s). If the preferred field(s) for a flight do not have availability, the scheduler will not assign that flight’s games to another field.

Note 2: Assigning a preferred field works in conjunction with the Restrict Flights to Their Preferred Fields setting on Schedule Games page. Both need to be set up in order for the function to work.

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Schedule > Leagues & Tournaments.

  3. Select a league or tournament.

  4. Select Divisions/Flights from the sub navigation.

  5. Use the divisions dropdown to select a division.

  6. Under the Flights section, find the flight you want to assign a preferred field to.

  7. Preferred Locations/Fields: Type the location/field name and select the field(s) that you want to assign the flight. A field can be a preferred field to more than one flight.

  8. Click Save.
