How to Create a Lock-In Time for a Team

Note 1: A lock-in time is a period of time within which the scheduler will only schedule games for that team.

Note 2: Lock-in times for a team participating in a tournament will most likely occur for a period of time within one day.

Note 3: Lock-in times for a team participating in a league may occur for a period of time within one day or one week, and are more likely to utilize a weekly recurrence than lock-in times for a tournament.

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Schedule > Leagues & Tournaments.

  3. Select a league or tournament.

  4. Select Divisions/Flights from the sub navigation.

  5. Scroll down to the Team Information section.

  6. Find the row for the team you want to assign a lock-in time to, under the Lock-Ins column, click the number. This number defaults to 0 unless a lock-in has been previously added.

  7. Click Create Lock-In Times.

  8. Start: Enter the date and time for the lock-in to begin.

  9. End: Enter the date and time for the lock-in to end.

  10. Recurrence: In the dropdown, if the lock-in time is a stand alone event leave as None. If the lock-in time is recurring, select Weekly.

  11. Recurrent Range: In the dropdown, select Total Number if there will be a set number of recurrences, or select End Date if the recurrence should end by a specific date.

  12. Total: Only shows when the Recurrent Range is set to Total Number. Enter the total number of recurrences.

  13. End by date: Only shows when the Recurrent Range is set to End Date. Enter the date when the recurrences will end.

  14. Exclude Date(s): If there are specific dates to be excluded, type them into the  Exclude Date(s) field in the given format.

  15. Click Review Dates.

  16. Review the recurring lock-in times. The individual lock-in dates and times can be edited, if necessary.

  17. Click Save Dates.

  18. Click Back to return to the Divisions/Flights page.
