How to Create a League or Tournament

Note 1: A program to take registration for the league or tournament should be created before you create a league or tournament.

Note 2: It is a best practice to create the league or tournament after the linked program’s division names have been finalized. You can update division names after league or tournament creation, but it is a tedious process.

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Schedule > Leagues & Tournaments.

  3. Click to create a new league or tournament.

  4. Type: If teams are participating in this league or tournament by registering through a program, set the type as From a Program.

  5. Program: Select the program that is taking registrations for this league or tournament.

  6. Divisions: If any, deselect the divisions that are not participating in the tournament.

  7. First Day: Select the first date of the league or tournament.

  8. Last Day: Select the last date of the league or tournament.

  9. Click Create.
