Note: Follow these instructions to send an email to team(s) after tryouts have passed and rosters are final, to team(s) within a program that didn’t host tryouts, or to team(s) with divisions that only permitted registration by team.

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Communication > Mass Messaging.

  3. Select Your Brand(s): Leave the default brand selected. This step may not be viewable based on your permissions.

  4. Click Next.

  5. What Type of Message Are You Sending? Select Transactional Email.

  6. Click Next.

  7. What Groups Are Receiving This Message? Select Athletes and Parents. You may also select Coaches and Team Managers.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Narrow Down Your List: Select Teams.

  10. Click Next.

  11. Add Recipients from Program(s): Use the search to find and select the program(s) that the team(s) you want to email belong to.

  12. Click Next.

  13. Add Recipients From Division(s): Select the division(s) that the team(s) you want to email belong to.

  14. Click Next.

  15. Player Status: Leave the default status selected.

  16. Click Next.

  17. Add Recipients from Team(s): Select the team(s) you want to email.

  18. Click Next.

  19. Remove Recipients from Program(s): Leave the default selected.

  20. Click Next.

  21. Preview your recipients list. Click Back to make changes or click Next to proceed.

  22. Compose your email and click Next.

  23. Preview your email. Click (blue star) to edit your email. Click Save for Later to save your email or schedule it to send at a later date. Click Send Messages to send the email immediately.
