Best Practices for Using the Homepage Text Editor

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. Click PlayerFirst in the top right corner.

  3. Click Home Page.

  4. Click Edit Landing Screen.

  • The brand name and only the brand name should be typed in Heading 1.

  • Creating a link on the homepage will create a white background behind the linked item. Be that text or an image.

  • Make sure all remaining homepage text is typed in Heading 2.

  • If you are going to create multiple links on the home page, put each link on its own line. While having multiple links on one line looks good on a computer. It looks bad when viewed on a phone.

  • Make sure to check that your webpage looks good on both a computer and a phone before you finish editing.

  • When posting an image, make sure the image width is set to a percentage and not a pixel width. Percentages adjust to the different screen sizes that users may view them on, a specific pixel width does not.
