3STEP will allow substitution of Players Health Background Checks for coaches who have valid memberships and cleared background checks in the following governing body groups:
Field Hockey:
USA Field Hockey
Soccer:
US Youth Soccer (USYS)
United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA)
Volleyball:
Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)
Junior Volleyball Association (JVA)
USA Volleyball
Softball:
USA Softball
Payees will still need to complete Abuse Prevention Training and Concussion training through 3STEP/Players Health as this is not part of governing body compliance items. Payees will need to provide documentation/proof of memberships.
