*IMPORTANT NOTE: Parent and volunteer coaches must complete compliance requirements even if 3STEP is not processing payment in Vensure, i,e, 3STEP is providing a Coach’s Child concession code in PlayerFirst in lieu of coach pay.
APPROVED GOVERNING BODIES
3STEP will allow Background Checks and SafeSport certifications (Abuse Prevention Training) to substitute Players Health Background Checks and Abuse Prevention Training for coaches who have valid memberships in the following governing body groups:
Field Hockey:

Lacrosse:
USA Lacrosse
Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)
Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA)
US Box Lacrosse (USBOXLA)
Soccer:
US Youth Soccer (USYS)
United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA)
Volleyball:
Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)
Junior Volleyball Association (JVA)
USA Volleyball
Softball:
USA Softball
Payees will still need to complete concussion training through 3STEP/Players Health as this is not part of governing body compliance items. Payees will need to provide documentation/proof of memberships.
