  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click the User Icon.

  3. Select Teams from the sub navigation.

  4. Find the team whose schedule you want to edit from and press the Team Info button.

  5. Click the (blue star) to create a new event type.

  6. What will you schedule? Use the dropdown to choose the type of event you want to schedule.
    Practice: Choosing practice allows you to create one or more of the same exact practice for one or more teams.
    Other: Choosing other allows you to create one or more of the same exact “other” event for one or more teams. You can also change the Title of the event from Other, to whatever you want it to be. E.g., film session, team dinner, etc.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Program: Type the name of the program you want to schedule the event for.

  9. Teams to Schedule: Select the team(s) you want to schedule the event for.

  10. Click Next.

  11. Title: If scheduling an “other” event, type out the name of this event here. E.g., film session, team dinner, etc.

  12. Uniform: Type the uniform information that your team needs. E.g., wearing home or away jerseys, etc.

  13. Arrival: If different for the event start time, type the time when athletes should arrive at the event location.

  14. Other Notes: Use this section to type out any other notes your team might need to have about this event.

  15. Click Next.

  16. Select your location:

    1. Location Name: Type out and select the location of the event.

    2. If the location search box doesn’t pull up your location, click Add Location to create a new location.

    3. If the location is TBA (To be announced), check the Location TBA check box.

  17. Click Next.

  18. Select your field: (This step will be skipped if you checked the Location TBA check box.)

    1. Field Name: Type out and select the field, court, etc. that your event will be played on.

    2. If the field search box doesn’t pull up the field you need, click Add Field to create a new field.

  19. Field Notes: Use this section to type out any field specific notes your team might need to know. E.g., the nearest parking lot location.

  20. Time Zone: Choose the time zone where your event is taking place.

  21. Start: Input the start date and time for the event.

  22. End: Input the end date and time for the event.

  23. Event Time TBA: If the exact times for the event are TBA, click this check box and use the Start and End dates and times to input the earliest possible event start and latest possible event end.

  24. Recurrence: If this event is recurring, select Weekly.

    1. Recurrence Days: Choose the day(s) on which your event recurs.

    2. Recurrent Range: Choose End Date.

    3. End by Date: Input the last date for the event’s recurrence.

    4. Exclude Date(s): Use this section to type out the dates that the recurrence should skip. Use the given format.

    5. Click Review Dates and make whatever date specific changes you may need to.

  25. Show Publicly Starting: Set the date and time for when this event will be shown publicly on the team’s schedule. Set a past date and time for the event to show publicly immediately.

  26. Click Save.

  27. A Confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to click the Save button to confirm the schedule. Once you have confirmed the schedule you will be directed to the schedule page for the team.
