How to give an exemption to an athlete

Note 1: Athlete exemptions are only necessary for athletes on teams that have registered for an event.

Note 2:  An athlete may need an exemption to play on a team if that athlete is too old for the division (by age or grad year) or has not completed a waiver.

1. Sign in to the PlayerFirst website with the program that you want to copy a team roster to.

2. On the left navigation, click Team > Team Reporting.

3. In the Program search box, select the program with the team rostering the athlete you want to give an exemption to.

4. In the Division search box, select the division with the team rostering the athlete you want to give an exemption to.

5. Click the name of the team rostering the athlete you want to give an exemption to.

6. Click Coaches in the sub-navigation.

7. Click the X under the Exemption column, on the Row belonging to the athlete you want to give an exemption to.

8. Click the ✔ to give the player an exemption.
